A lot of people are working from home… but not all of them know when to stop.

Working from home looks a lot different than heading to the office. Besides keeping your pajama pants on, your couch is more comfortable than a desk chair. But your cozy clothes and soft cushions can make the hours run together and people are having trouble quitting for the day.

So, to help make sure you’re not putting in extra hours, Ladders.com has a few ways to end your home workday. For example, put powering down time on your schedule. Once you have a routine, you’ll know how much time it takes to log off. Then plug that into your calendar and make sure no one cuts into your time.

Another example? Get your inbox to zero, and set times to check email. One of those times should be at the end of your workday to tie up any loose ends. For more tips on logging off, check out the original article now.

Make the time to go home… even if you’re already there.
