Starbucks Give Good Campaign

by | Nov 9, 2017 | CBS Radio Report

Starbuck's Give Good CampaignStarbucks annual holiday cups are back and this year the coffee giant is celebrating the holidays with a little diversity.

At the beginning of the month Starbucks began running its yuletide campaign complete with the holiday cups that many people have started collecting. In a nod to the recent adult coloring books trend, this year’s cups are mostly black and white encouraging customers to fill in the colors of their choice. And of course along with the cups comes the commercials.

This time around it’s an animated clip that shows a variety of diverse families walking through winter wonderlands. In one scene, two women can be seen cozying up to each other over a cup of coffee as fireworks go off in the background.

A Starbucks spokeswoman says the aim of its Š—“give good” campaign is to showcase all the different types of connections shared by its customers throughout the year. She says giving good can be as simple as opening a door for a stranger to recognizing the different backgrounds and beliefs from all across the world. Coffee, just one more thing we all have in common.
