Fast food restaurants are doing their best to outlast the pandemic–and some are cooking hotter than others.
QSR Magazine does regular rankings of places with fast food and service. And according to Forbes Magazine, this year’s list shows some improvement. The rankings are based on information from the restaurant, Securities & Exchange Commission filings and information from the research firm Food Service Results.
Once again, McDonald’s and Starbucks take the top two spots, but this year, Chick-Fil-A is in third. QSR says the restaurants have many loyal customers, keeping it up and running. It was also quick to jump into action when the pandemic hit with things such as family meal bundles for just under $14. These featured different entries and sides you could take home and cook.
One of the losers on this year’s list was Subway, dropping three spots to number six. Hurting Subway is the number of locations in gas stations. When people stopped driving, business took a hit. Plus, the company has closed locations and laid off workers.
Looks like some restaurants will need a new recipe.
