College is all about choices; whether to go, where to go and what you should do once you’re there.

According to MSN Money, majors in science, technology, engineering and math will bring home the highest paychecks. In many cases health and business majors will also keep graduates living comfortably. But what are the degrees most people wish they hadn’t pursued? The job search site Zip Recruiter surveyed more than five thousand college graduates looking for a job and found the top five most regretted majors.

For example, forty two percent of people regretted pursuing english and foreign languages, calling them impractical with limited opportunities.

Thirty five percent wish they hadn’t majored in biological and physical sciences because it’s hard to find a job without advanced degrees or licenses.

Then there’s education, thirty one percent of people say a degree in that field results in a job with low pay and satisfaction.

For the other two most-regretted majors, and a few that people would pursue all over again, check out the original article now. Now you just have to be able to afford it.
