Finding a new job can be exciting, but it also means change, uncertainty and learning a whole new set of skills. That’s why many people decide to stay in a job they hate instead of trying something new. So how do you know if a new job is something you need?
To help you out, Inc.com has a list of fourteen important questions. If you answer “yes” to any of them it’s time to update your resume. For example, “is my work schedule making me sick?”
A recent study of twenty eight thousand food and retail workers found a strong correlation between someone’s schedule and their happiness, stress and quality of sleep. People who work full or partially on-call schedules are more likely to live an unhealthy lifestyle.
What about “Am I criticized publicly?” Constructive feedback needs to be done in private, no one need face public humiliation.
