Push To Purpose

[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]In need of inspiration? Go out and find it.

Twenty-year-old Esra Ozturk is CEO of a company that helped women in Turkey sell their products after a terrorist bombing nearly shut down the tourism industry. From that experience she wrote “Push to Purpose: 50 Lessons and Insights From the Paths of The World’s Best Female Innovators, Entrepreneurs and Changemakers.” A book she wrote to give young girls more female role models.

“I think the number one thing I learned across the board especially in entrepreneurship is that everything is 100% fine across the board, they’re all making millions of dollars, everyone’s a superstar but when you actually grab those superstars and sit them down they tell you how hard it was to get there, the mistakes they made, how many people they had to fire how much revenue they lost along the way and it makes you realize we’re all human and the journey is long, it’s a long game, it’s difficult but it’s worth it in the end when you believe in what you’re doing.”

Good advice at any age.
