Heading back to the office? Here are a few things to leave at home. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

Slowly but surely people are leaving the comfort of their at home work spaces and returning to their pre-pandemic offices, and employers are working on how to bring them back safely. But according to Business Insider, health and safety measures aren’t the only concerns managers are considering. Over the past year, a lot has changed, some for the better. By example, hosting long meetings. According to The National Bureau of Economic research the number of meetings per person has risen by 12%. But the length of the meeting has declined by 20%. Take that and run with it, make better use of your time and decide what needs to be done in a meeting versus an email. Next, scheduling after-work events. Before lockdown we bonded in person and after five o’clock, but that doesn’t work for everyone so consider some activities that can happen during the day.
