So, you’ve submitted your resume, landed the interview and it’s time for the follow-up. In most cases this comes in the form of a thank-you email. Or if you’re really good a personalized note. Either way, according to ladders dot com there is specific language you should use to tell the company thanks or no thanks. For example, say you had a great conversation with the recruiter or hiring manager but have decided the job is not right for you. This is when you should send a thank you email to end the process but remain friendly with the company. So, thank them for their time to discuss the specific job title at their company.
