Being told to delegate can be a terrifying experience for a lot of people. They worry their employees might mess things up and embarrass them, or they get worried their employees will out-perform them. But like it or not helping those under you to rise up shows you are a good manager which in turn helps you to rise up. To help you take the first step, Fast Company has put together some tips to overcome your hesitancy to delegate and to become a better leader. For example, realize your limits. You can’t do it alone. And trying to will cause burnout and crush your working spirit. Delegating out to-do lists puts the right people on the right jobs at the right time. Be open-minded.
