Kwik-E-Mart

by | Sep 4, 2018

[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]You might not be able to find the town The Simpsons call home, but you can visit its local convenience store.

A real life version of the simpsons Kwik-E-Mart has opened in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. At the store, true to the show you can buy buzz cola, heat lamp hot dogs, lard lad donuts and of course duff beer. There will also be simpsons merchandise for sale and regular food and drinks for anyone who can’t stomach the animated flavor.

This is the first permanent Kwik-E-store to pop up. The universal studios theme parks in florida and california both have storefronts but don’t sell as many items from the show. Back in 2007, some 7-Eleven locations transformed into the store to promote release of The Simpsons movie.

And it won’t be the only thing from the hit show to make it from the small screen to your street corner. The Kwik-E-mart in Myrtle Beach will eventually accompany a Simpsons 4D movie opening later this year at the local Aztec Theater.

That theater will also be transformed into one straight out of Springfield.
