Millions of people are working from home… which means a whole new set of rules to follow.

Not being in the office has its perks. You can wear your pajamas all day, and you don’t have people looking over your shoulder. Unfortunately, if it’s not something you’re used to; it can also come with its own set of pitfalls. So, to help you stay employed, MSNMoney has a list of common mistakes to avoid while working from home.

For example, procrastinating. The combination of flexible hours and not being monitored can bring out the worst in people. Don’t save everything until the end of the day, even if you’re able to get it done it doesn’t leave room for any last-minute developments.

Another mistake, not developing a routine. This is important for people working from home. Get up and take a shower, get dressed for the day and act as if you are still going out even when you aren’t.
