You’ve landed the interview… don’t show up empty-handed.

After applying and following up by phone, it’s time to come in for a real interview. But according to Forbes magazine there are some things you should bring with you to improve your chances of getting an offer.

For example, there is the challenge of actually getting to the interview. Bring along a hard copy of travel and contact information. Most people rely on cell phones to navigate but if you forget it or your battery dies you still need to know where you’re going.

Print out directions, a schedule and contact numbers and give yourself lots of time for unexpected delays. Next, print out a copy of the job description, make notes on it and bring it with you. Highlight the parts you have questions about, make a note about part of the job where you could excel. You can review these while you wait and be extra prepared when called inside.

For more things you need to bring, check out the original article now. And don’t forget a copy of your resume.
