Some workers are saying goodbye to their home office, and hello to a hotel room.
As people sent home to work grew frustrated with lack of space and privacy, hotels frustrated with their lack of revenue stepped up. According to MSN Money, hotel companies from high end chains to independently owned locations are opening their doors to office workers for long term rentals. And they have everything you need for a full day’s work; high-speed internet, a reading chair, a desk and even a fitness center if they’re open. Plus, when it’s time for lunch there’s room service and a bed for an afternoon nap.
Hotels already offer stringent cleaning and as many get ready to welcome back guests, those cleaning efforts have increased. According to MSN Money, Hotels By Day, a company that allows people to rent rooms by the day has seen a nine hundred percent increase over the past few months.
About sixty percent of those customers are renting rooms less than thirty miles from where they live. I think it just might be a hard sell to your spouse.
