High-Flying Secrets

In-Flight SecretsGetting ready to board a plane? Avoid the coffee and if you forget to turn off your phone you won’t be the only one.

In a recent interview with Vice, an unnamed flight attendant revealed a few in flight secrets. For example, no one turns off their cell phone, even flight attendants. She says rules like that are just precautionary; along with not standing up when the plane is taxiing. She says at one point something must have happened to lead to the rules so airlines are just trying to protect themselves.

If you’re looking for your own in-flight “entertainment,” the best time to sneak away for a little private time in the bathroom is during meal service. The flight attendants are busy and not checking out how many people at one time are slipping into the bathroom.

Avoid coffee or tea because it’s the same potable water used in the bathrooms. Looking for a free upgrade? Be nice to the flight attendants, flash a smile and perhaps offer them some candy or a small gift.

Scratch their back, they’ll scratch yours.
