The magical world of Harry Potter is getting a little bigger.
Warner Brothers, the studio behind the Harry Potter movies says its opening the world’s first Harry Potter store. It will be located next to the flatiron building in Manhattan and is set to open this summer.
The studio says it will house the largest collection of Harry Potter products. It will also include stuff from The Fantastic Beasts books and movies which is a spin-off from the original story. Visitors will be able to explore a three story, twenty thousand square foot store full of everything from personalized robes to a wand collection, designed for the store.
More details will be released as the opening date gets closer but the studio is promising quote “a must visit fan destination with interactive experiences and numerous photo opportunities.”
According to The Wall Street Journal construction was delayed because of disagreements over external dragon and wand displays but now it looks like everything is moving forward.
Just the latest addition to a world that includes seven books, eight movies and a Broadway show.
