They say money can’t buy happiness, but maybe your time can. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

According to Inc.com one valuable thing bosses can give employees is their time. As you may know it’s very easy to waste time or spend it in ways that you might later regret. Instead, sharing it with others makes them feel valued. And when it comes to people that you work with that could lead to happier and more productive employees. And science agrees. The research firm Gallup discovered that employees who routinely met with managers were three times as likely to be engaged at work as employees without regular meetings. And daily communication is even better. That doesn’t mean emails or text messages but actual face to face dialogue. According to Inc.com you should pick a person you would like to share your time with and plan something to do with them. Have a meeting to check in, maybe grab coffee or lunch, and make sure to be engaged during this time. Your time might be valuable but it’s still free to give it to someone else.
