First Class Shoes

First Class ShoesVirgin America is making some changes to its first class experience; and this time around you don’t even have to get on a plane.

The airline has handcrafted a pair of sneakers that offer a taste of a first class lifestyle while keeping both feet on the ground. Created in Milan the sneakers are designed to look like a first class cabin complete with a stainless steel airline style belt buckle. But the similarities don’t end there.

The shoes also feature Wi-Fi, mood lighting and a video display. The creator says the biggest challenge to the product was finding components small enough to be built in to the shoe. The cell phone charger, screen and Wi-Fi hotspot all had to be small enough to keep the shoe light weight and comfortable for the wearer.
