Fake Holiday GiftsFirst there was fake news and now your holiday shopping list is facing some hijinks. During the presidential election there were reports that fake news reports and stories were popping up on social media and potentially swaying the voting population. And now as you start picking up presents for your loved ones watch out for fake gift ideas that aren’t really what they seem. Recently the image of a Fisher Price happy hour play set was created and shared on Instagram by meme maker Adam Padilla. It showed a miniature bar with three toddlers, one was posing as a bartender and the other two were holding plastic beer bottles. Of course this didn’t sit well with parents who want their kids to wait a few more years before hitting up their local watering hole. So they took to Twitter and posted a few complaints aimed at Fisher Price. The toy maker responded saying that the product was not endorsed, produced or approved by fisher price. Turns out you really can’t believe everything you see on the internet.
