Enjoying Your Twenties

Enjoying Your TwentiesApproaching the Big 3-0 and ready to settle down, you might want to take a step back.

Teach Starter is a company that provides elementary school teachers with the resources they need to keep students engaged. Scott Tonges is co-founder of the company and even though he’s enjoying a little success he has a few words of wisdom for anyone still living through their twenties.

He says before buying a house and starting a family there are some things everyone should know about. For example, you will never have more time than you do in your twenties until you retire so use it wisely doing what you love.

Aside from your job or a relationship you have no real commitments so this is when you should be selfish. It’s also the time you should take risks such as making investments, starting a company or writing a book, especially because your twenties are when you have the most time and energy.

Finally take time to decide what you really want to do. Then you won’t spend your thirties and forties looking back with regret.
