The pandemic has brought about many changes–and some might be worth getting used to.
2020 has uprooted our way of life. From work to entertainment to seeing friends and family, everything has changed. And while you might be wearing for the good old days of 2019, experts at Axios say some of this isn’t so bad. In fact, there are a few things they think should stick around.
For example, remote job postings give people the chance to find work anywhere. Plus working from home cuts commute time and can help with work-life balance.
Telehealth and teletherapy requests have gone through the roof, making access to medical treatments and therapists easier.
More Americans are getting outside thanks to travel and dining regulations. With a ban on Americans visiting many foreign countries, people are checking out national parks and experimenting with camping. And with many cities setting up outside dining, people are spending less time indoors–something most health experts say is good.
Evolutionary anthropologists say many people will stumble on solutions to problems they never would have tried. Change really is inevitable.
