Listen Now: Economic Uncertainty: Congressman Garamendi Weighs In On Our Future
[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]The state of the economy can turn on a dime, and some people aren’t prepared for the trip.
I recently spoke to California Congressman John Garamendi about the state of the economy. He says while the current economy is stable and growing he worries about the future. He says this is a crazy time and investors have lots of questions about trade issues, tariffs and politics in washington.
“Governments always been divided but right now it’s divided in a very different way it’s divided not only on issues, republicans want this, democrats want this that’s always been there.
But now we have this whole thing about Trump and where are we gonna go with the Mueller report all of those things really weigh very, very heavy on the legislative agenda and I think on the economy also.”
And Garamendi says that leads to one of the worst feelings investors face.
“Uncertainty is the worst things that an economy can have and we’re very uncertain.”
Especially when you have to take the state of fractured politics into account.
