Listen Now: Domino’s Rewards Pizza Lovers For Eating At Other Chains
Domino’s is trying to bring in more customers, by telling them to eat somewhere else.
Domino’s has created a limited-time addition to its rewards program that kicked off the day before Super Bowl Sunday. This time around customers get points for any brand of pizza, including frozen.
The head of advertising for Domino’s says the company understands people shop around and eat all different types of slices and should be rewarded for it. So the new offer gives anyone who signs up the chance to get free pizza without buying exclusively from Domino’s.
All customers have to do to earn their way towards a free pizza is sign up for the program and take pictures of all the pizza they eat. And some trickery is allowed; for example if your dog is enjoying a pizza shaped toy that photo will also earn you points.
The rewards program goes for twelve weeks and the company hopes it can keep itself in the top spot it currently holds over pizza chains such as Pizza Hut, Little Casesars and Papa John’s.
So grab a slice, any slice.
