Disneyland and PixarThe happiest place on earth is getting a little more animated.

Beginning April 13th and for a limited time Disneyland will be holding a celebration of the movies and characters of Pixar, in an event called Pixar Fest. The Bay Area based animation studio will be represented with a brand new fireworks show including a Buzz Lightyear flyover, music and animated projections on different areas of the park.

The Pixar play parade will be moving from California Adventure to Disneyland. The daytime show will feature characters from the movies Š—“Monsters Inc,” Š—“Toy Story” and Š—“Finding Nemo.” The famous Pixar lamp seen in the opening credits of all movies will also make an appearance. There will also be a new paint the night parade which will be similar to Disneyland’s famous main street electrical parade and will include a new Pixar story as part of the procession.

In addition to all that Disneyland has plans to re-theme Paradise Pier and the boardwalk area inside California Adventure to Pixar Pier. Plus the theme park is continuing work on the new star wars land. And that’s the magic of making money.
