Looking to unload some real estate? Start with a little curb appeal.

Whether you’re moving to a new location, or upgrading your home, there are things you can do to boost your asking price. And the best part? They won’t cost you much.

According to the digital media company PureWow there are a few projects worth your time–and sweat–to boost your equity. For example, paint your front door. This is the easiest way to boost your home’s curb appeal. Neutrals, navy and deep reds are the most popular choices, but don’t be afraid to switch it up and draw some attention.

Next, update your doorbell. And that does not mean a fancy chime, that means going high tech. A couple hundred dollars for a smart doorbell will make buyers take a second look at what else you’re selling. Some are even battery-operated, which means no hard wiring.
