Experts are warning about an overlooked victim of the pandemic — your personal appearance.
With hairdressers, nail salons and day spas locked down worldwide, people are letting themselves go. And people who work there say that’s not a bad thing. As people on social media gripe about their gray hair, grown out eyebrows and broken nails… the experts say let it go.
The Creative Director of a French cosmetics brand is advising people not to touch their eyebrows. She says we are already being told not to touch our faces and that should include plucking your eyebrows. Not for health reasons, but because you might do something to your eyebrows that no one will be able to fix.
Colorists are chiming in and telling people to let their color grow out. They say dying your hair at home can leave you with a bigger mess than going natural.
One area where they say you can experiment is makeup, because you can fix any mistakes you make by washing your face. Besides fixing you up means a boost in business when the lockdown is lifted.
