Listen Now: This Surprising Costco Item Keeps Selling Out (Hint: It’s Not Food)
Costco is bringing in a billion dollars of year with one specific product… and you can’t eat it.
Most customers visiting warehouse retailer Costco are stocking up on items such as toilet paper and paper towels. And some are preparing for a big party by buying guacamole in bulk.
Then there are the families of four or more who need to shop at Costco just to keep their eating budget in line. Regardless of your reason for heading to the store there is one item you don’t usually have at the top of your list: clothing. But it turns out that item is a big seller for the big box store.
So what’s behind the high sales numbers? Costco offers top brands such as North Face, Lucky and Adidas at lower prices. It also offers limited choices which means customers don’t have to sort through piles and piles of clothing just to find what they’re looking for.
Plus the inventory is always changing, that means people who like buying their clothes at Costco have to keep coming back. And all without a fitting room.
