Listen Now: Cookie Vending Machine
Need a safe place to sell your product? Why not a vending machine?
Mike Evans owns a cookie business in Saint Louis, Missouri. And like many other small business owners, the pandemic made business almost impossible. But instead of folding up shop, Mike cooked up another idea.
According to local TV station KPLR, Evans now owns a cookie vending machine. He told the station he was on Facebook around three in the morning and saw a post about vending machines in Japan that sell everything you can imagine. So, he figured why not individually wrap the cookies and sell them out of a vending machine that keeps them warm?
So he paired up with the general manager of a local bar and installed the vending machine on the bar’s new patio. Right now, the construction crew and staff are enjoying them, but the manager expects them to be a hit with the late-night crowd.
And, it gives them a leg up on the competition since no one else is offering up a cookie vending machine.
And—who doesn’t love a warm cookie?
