Hate Your Boss? Get Ahead Of These Red Flags ASAP

[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]A lot of people hate their boss, but is that enough to quit your job?

Sometimes it’s not the work that you can’t stand, it’s the person telling you to do it. But when do you know if it’s time to pack up your things or just grin and bear it.

According to Inc.com there are five things to watch out for, if your boss does any of them it’s time to go. For example, your boss makes you feel like you’re shrinking. A good boss will help you improve where you need it and build on their strengths. A bad boss is demeaning, doesn’t listen to you and doesn’t value your ideas. This causes people to shut down and should lead you straight towards the exit.

Another example: your boss gives oversight, not oxygen. People who are given room to grow and make their own mistakes tend to perform better and have a higher job satisfaction. People with a micromanager are less motivated to do anything.
