The tides of the current job market have turned to favor those looking for their next opportunity. This means you can be choosy about where you land; and while you’re at it demand a higher salary with better benefits.

So why not shoot for the best company you can find? To help you determine where that is, the career website Zippia took a look at every business in every state. It gave each one a score based on factors that include pay, diversity and financial health.

According to MSN Money who reported results, the best company to work for in Alabama is BBVA Compass. The banking firm employs more than ten thousand workers at six hundred locations. It received high marks for a relaxed work environment and great care packages.

In Alaska, the best place to work is the anchorage school district thanks to good pay and career growth.
