Listen Now: Barbie World: Mexico City Hotel Brings Pink Dreams To Life
Want to live like a barbie girl in a barbie world? Here’s your chance.
To honor the 60th anniversary of the world’s most famous doll, the Hilton Mexico City Santa Fe is undergoing a makeover. In collaboration with Mattel the hotel is unveiling a hot pink hotel suite designed to give guests the ultimate Barbie “glamping” experience.
It starts with the check-in process. Guests will find a pink carpet on their arrival and a photo opp with a super-size version of the doll’s iconic shoe at the hotel entrance. Then it’s on to the suite which features a collection of rare dolls from the past sixty years, barbie artwork and hot pink décor.
The suite also includes a dream camper where children can dress up and sleep in bunk beds. In addition to the welcome wagon and your room, Barbie Dream guests will enjoy hot pink lounge chairs by the pool and an exclusive menu at the restaurant that includes heart-shaped pizzas, red velvet desserts and strawberry ice cream.
The cost of a pink paradise? About two hundred dollars a night.
