Wondering if you’re a bad boss, go straight to the source. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

You might not know if you’re terrible to work for, but your employees do. So to highlight some of the worst management mistakes, MSN Money asked for examples, from the people who have to put up with them. Here’s what people had to say made their nine to five a little more unbearable. Involving yourself in every decision. This is someone who can’t let any decision, no matter how big or small, be made without weighing in. Another example, refusing to make a decision until you’ve reviewed everything, no matter how insignificant. Maybe you’re someone who corrects small mistakes to demonstrate how smart you are. You find yourself editing grammar or spelling that is already correct. Or you always weigh in on small matters instead of being concerned about the big picture. Then there are the bosses that refuse to give any feedback but overreact when their employees can’t guess exactly what they’re looking for. For more bad boss stories go to banmiller on business dot com. Then try very hard to avoid repeating their mistakes. Brian banmiller, CBS news
