Preparing for a job interview can be tough, but the work doesn’t end once you leave the room. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

It’s customary to ask questions of the person interviewing you for a job. But what are the right ones and what happens if you have more once you’ve left. Ladders.com sat down with a business professor turned career coach to narrow down how you should and should not use questions to your advantage. For example, how many questions should you ask? If you ask none, it shows you didn’t do your research. Too many and you come across as high maintenance. Ask one or two thoughtful questions such as “Who do I work closely with” or” What is the biggest challenge in this position. And what happens after you leave? According to ladders.com it’s perfectly fine to go back and ask more questions. Just don’t make it look like you’re only interested in money or red flags. For more tips including the questions to ask yourself go to BanmillerOnBusiness.com. Forget the cat, curiosity does pay off. Brian Banmiller, CBS News.
