Amazon is taking its holiday shopping one step further. I’m Brian Banmiller on Business.

Continuing its quest to take over the worlds of shopping and shipping, Amazon is rolling out another feature. And it can make holiday shopping easier and cheaper for you. Now available on mobile devices, Amazon will allow you to buy gifts for someone else using their email address and phone number. The best part? You no longer have to worry about tracking down the correct address for people, Amazon does it for you. Once you select the gifts using their email or cell phone number, Amazon will contact them, tell them what’s going on and they input the address of where to send the gifts. Amazon says it realizes people have been moving around a lot during the past year and address books might be outdated. This makes that a non-issue. Perhaps the best part, there is no additional expense to use the feature. You even have the option of adding a gift message. Amazon has an obvious goal, to get people to buy more.
