Smoke And Mirrors: Vegas Weed Museum Has One Major Catch

by | Oct 2, 2018

[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]There is a new Vegas attraction celebrating all things weed, except for actually smoking it.

Cannabition, a made for social media museum is now open in Las Vegas. Guests wander through twelve installations with rooms like “seed” where you can lie in a bed shaped like a marijuana seed. Or “grow” which features artificial plants in sizes ranging from inches to feet tall placed under bright lights.

But here’s the catch, it’s all-fake; try as you might, none of the weed in this museum will give you a buzz. That’s because even though it is legal to buy marijuana for recreational use it is still illegal to smoke it in public.

So instead visitors can check out the glass bong taller than a giraffe or dive into a pool full of foam weed nuggets. The founder of the facility says the museums goal is to de-stigmatize marijuana use and try to draw people to Vegas that don’t like to gamble.

The founder is drumming up interest by inviting a slew of reality stars and instagram models, hoping they will pass it around to their friends.
