Tesla Electric Trucks

Tesla Electric TrucksTesla is rolling out the semi trucks of the future and you may not be so quick to pass them.

Right now Elon Musk and tesla are taking reservations for its new electric semi trucks with plans to begin producing them in 2019. So far industry experts are giving the sleek new designs an “A-,” and there are eight key reasons most people are on board.

Musk says the tesla truck has a range of five hundred miles per charge while carrying a maximum weight of eighty thousand pounds and traveling at freeway speeds. This makes is more competitive to current diesel trucks which travel up to one thousand miles on a single tank.

It also performs more like a sports car than a large truck going from zero to sixty in five seconds versus fifteen seconds for a diesel semi. And it can reach a speed of sixty-five miles per hour while climbing a five percent grade and towing the maximum weight.

Now they just need to deliver.
