Taxi Cab Calendar

NYC Taxi Cab CalendarNew York cab drivers are going from behind the wheel to your bedroom wall.

For the fifth year Phil and Shannon Kirkman are putting out a tongue in cheek pinup calendar featuring twelve New York City taxi drivers. Phil says when you hail a cab you never see the driver because when you get in they’re facing forward and then you’re gone again. They felt the calendar was a way to shine a spotlight on the industry and the people who keep it moving.

In one picture, Mr. November is pictured draping his hand over the steering wheel while a female passenger reaches up and tucks a one hundred dollar bill into his mesh t-shirt. Another has a shirtless driver lounging against a vintage cab.

But it’s not all fun and games; a portion of the proceeds goes to help low income New York City immigrants. The Kirkmans say the idea made sense since a majority of city cab drivers are immigrants themselves. The calendar costs fifteen dollars, visit the NYC Taxi Calendar website now.

It’s the holiday gift no one will see coming.
