Shaking Things UpStuck in a rut? There are some things you can do to dig yourself out.

At some point during your career you might reach a point where you feel burned out or bored by the daily grind. And whether you need a major shakeup or just a couple days of something different, MSN Money has some tips to get things back on track.

First, identify your main pain points. Think about the specific aspects of your job that are making you unhappy. Most common complaints include management, work you don’t enjoy, or the feeling of not being challenged.

Maybe try switching up your routine. Come in early or do something different for lunch. These minor changes could be enough to give you the jolt you need. But if you’re looking for something a little more drastic, consider the unexpected.

If you’re shy, give a presentation, if you usually spend your days crunching numbers help out in the publicity department.
