Fact of The Day: Why McDonald’s Coke Tastes Superior

by | Oct 26, 2018

[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]Think all coke tastes the same; take another sip.

Ever found yourself craving an ice cold Coke, but only if it’s from McDonalds? Turns out there is a reason why their soda tastes just a bit better than the other guys.

First of all, while most restaurants have their Coca-Cola syrup delivered in plastic bags; McDonalds stores theirs in stainless steel tanks. This preserves the flavor and protects it from temperature, light and air, all things that can affect the taste.

Mcdonalds also filters its water many times over with an advanced system. So no matter how low quality the water in a city might be, the company’s system will clean everything out.

Mcdonald’s also chills its syrup and water. Plus they mix their syrup to water ratio to account for ice melt. This guarantees each sip will be refreshing and is why you should never order a coke without ice.

Finally, there’s the straw, designed to be extra wide to let you enjoy the most soda for your sip. Now all you have to decide is whether you want fries with that.
