Marriott Rewards

[xyz-ips snippet=”post-thumb-url”]Marriott is expanding its rewards programs and you might want to book your next trip.

The Marriott International, Marriott rewards and the Ritz-Carlton rewards programs are all merging into one giant benefit for members. Expected to be branded under one unified name early next year this will allow members of one program to benefit from all three, plus extra perks thrown in for good measure.

This means those perks and points can be used at all 29 brands and 6,700 participating resorts and hotels. So what can you expect with your newfound power? Marriott says members will earn on average 20% more points per dollar spent and will be able to combine all point balances into one main account.

You will also receive the absence of blackout dates to redeem a free room and the ability to earn points for food, drinks, the spa and other hotel incidentals.

Rewards members can also use their points for experiences such as a cooking lesson with a five star chef. Now you just have to figure out where you want to go first.
