Craving a New York style slice of pizza? Call up JetBlue. The airline is drawing attention to its eleven daily nonstop flights between New York and Los Angeles with a two-day pizza delivery service.
Here’s how it works; from wednesday to friday this past week customers could place an order on JetBlue’s website for Patsy’s Pizza from harlem. The company would deliver the genuine New York pies to up to 350 people in Los Angeles.
Of course, due to time difference orders had to be placed by midnight and your pizza would arrive between seven and ten PM the following night. The pizza was made fresh every day in the East Harlem location’s coal-fire oven. Then, the pizza was packed for the flight and kept in just the right conditions to ensure it was fresh and delicious when it arrived at someone’s door.
Now, on JetBlue’s social media sites, customers are suggesting ideas for the next publicity stunt. Ideas include New York bagels or In-n-Out burger from the west coast. I wonder if you have to tip the pilot?
