Girl Scout Cookie CerealThe Girl Scouts are expanding their empire, all the way to your breakfast table. Every year Girl Scouts all over the country set up shot at various locations ready and eager to sell off boxes of their popular cookies. And every year customers anxiously await the time to satisfy their cravings for Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties or Shortbread cookies. This year the organization stepped up its game with the introduction of a new cookie called s’mores and next year it’s doing the same. In January, the Girl Scouts will debut Girl Scout cookie cereals. The nonprofit has paired up with General Mills and plans to release a cereal that tastes like the Thin Mint cookie and another that tastes like a Caramel Delite, also known as a Samoa. The Girl Scouts say year after year those two cookies are their best seller so the organization decided to switch things up and offer fans something new. But the cereal is only being offered for a limited time. Looks like you’ll have something to pick up inside the store as well as on your way out.
