Dollar stores, located all around the country, lure customers in with its promise of rock-bottom prices. In some cases you get what you pay for, but according to MSN Money there are 21 things you should fill your cart with for one dollar or less.
For example, greeting cards. There is no need to spend five dollars or more on a card to wish someone a happy birthday. You might not get the extras such as bows and glitter but you can make up for that with an extra special message.
And while picking up the card, grab some party supplies. You can save up to 70% by buying items such as paper plates, cups and plastic tablecloths at a dollar store.
And don’t forget the mylar or foil balloons while you’re at it. Those can cost five times as much in another store.
