Listen Now: Brewing Up Business
This week Presidents Trump and Putin shared a stage, but one Finnish company says the two world leaders should share something else, a cold one.
To coincide with the summit in finland, Rock Paper Scissors indie brewery released a new brew that shows the two leaders playing the game rock, paper, scissors. The tagline reads “let’s settle this like adults” and “make lager great again.”
The CEP says all matters of problems have been solved with rock, paper, scissors and it was time both presidents came together to settle their differences with that game of chance. If that doesn’t work, a cold beer is another way to help with negotiations.
But even if Trump and Putin refuse to buy in, the gimmick is working. The brewery says it’s having trouble keeping up with demand, especially after sending bottles to the U.S. and Russian embassies.
And they aren’t the only ones brewing up extra business. When president Trump visited Scotland, a brewery there released tiny cans of beer; a dig at the size of his hands, and small or not, people drank it up.
