Everyone has an annoying habit; and they’re finding their way into the work place.

Your nine to five can be stressful enough without dealing with the little quirks of others. But while you’re sitting at your desk stewing about someone’s pen clicking habit; chances are you’re annoying them just as much. To find out some of the biggest pet peeves people are finding at work careerbuilder.com reached out to their community of social media members. Then they compiled a list of the most popular responses in the hopes of educating offenders.

Some of the highlights include gum popping and people showing up late for meetings. Then there are the more specific offenses. This includes people that walk into your office, see you are on the phone and take a seat anyway. Then they sit there waiting for you to finish the conversation. In the meantime not only are they listening to the whole thing chances are they’re toying with items on your desk or trying to ask you a question anyway.
