McDonalds has become a worldwide staple thanks to its fast and easy way to feed you. And now it’s doing the same for your wedding day. McDonald’s restaurants have added a new item to their menu, the mc-wedding and the idea is starting to cook. The company says the idea isn’t meant to be tacky but rather to fill a need in the fast paced society of Hong Kong. The company says McDonalds restaurants are a popular dating venue for younger couples. And the venue is a cheaper solution for a wedding.

So far there are two weddings planned for this year and about 70 more couples are looking to book their own big day. And everything needed to say “I do” is included. For about $1,200 the McDonalds “Warm and Sweet Wedding Package” includes wedding gifts, pink invitation cards and decorations that feature characters such as Ronald McDonald and the Hamburglar. Additional items up for purchase include a “white balloon” gown rental, a balloon corsage and a wedding cake. I wonder if you can get fries with that.
