An Undead Education

In search of an out of this world education? You might want to head to Baltimore.

Students at the University of Baltimore have an unusual option when it comes to filling their class schedule. While the class name English 333 seems innocent enough, it’s the curriculum that might make it hard to sleep at night.

The class is being taught by Arnold Blumberg, author of the book and collection of movies called “Zombiemania.” Blumberg is also the curator of the local Geppi’s entertainment museum which focuses on American pop culture. Students in this class will spend their days watching 16 classic zombie movies and read zombie comic strips. Then instead of taking your usual final exam students will be able to write their own zombie themed scripts or draw up storyboards for their own zombie movies.

And with the recent boom in fantasy characters like vampires and werewolves taking over the box office and your TiVo, this might not be a bad business to break into. Just as long as you don’t spook easily.
