Implants for Campaign Funds

Its campaign season and politicians are pulling out all the stops to secure some cash.

Gustavo Rojas is a candidate for a national assembly position in Venezuela, and to raise money for his political aspirations he’s targeting the flat-chested. Rojas is offering breast implants as a prize in a raffle in which all proceeds go to his campaign. Rojas says it’s an interesting prize that is generating a lot of interest.

Not surprising since the South American country is widely known for cosmetic surgery and it’s well enhanced citizens. Even the economy hasn’t kept people from going under the knife; in fact many people are taking out loans to finance their procedures. So Rojas has decided to capitalize on people’s vanity. And he’s not worried about any potential backlash.

Rojas says the raffle is nothing more than a financing mechanism. Rojas says not everyone likes some of the other prizes being raffled off and this one is no exception. No word on what the raffle tickets cost, or who will be doing the procedure, but politicians already know how to operate in a material world.
