A Failed Robbery

Police in Germany are on the hunt for suspects responsible for a huge public disturbance dureing an attempted bank robbery. A bank robbery they ran away from empty handed.

Robbers in Germany were forced to flee the scene of their would-be crime empty handed after blowing up everything but the cash machine. In the Northeastern village of Malliss, police and the local media were reporting a scene of devastation following the attempted robbery.

According to reports a bank in the village was reduced to a pile of rubble and the roof was completely destroyed. But sitting safe and sound among the wreckage was the only item that had remained intact, the cash machine with all the cash still in it. Police Spokesman Niels Borgmann says the explosion turned out to be so big the robbers had to leave without the money. Borgmann says something clearly didn't work out the way the robbers had originially intended.

While no injuries were reported, cars and buildings up to 100 yards away were damaged. I guesss it's a good think the money wasn't stolen. It seem the bank will need some extra cash to rebuild.
