Sharing Your Secrets

Everyone is entitled to vent after a bad day at work. It’s sharing your frustrations on a public forum that will get you in trouble.

A waitress at a Brixx Pizza in North Carolina is saying goodbye to her income after updating her unfriendly Facebook update targeted two customers. Twenty two year old Ashley Johnson was almost done with her shift when a couple was seated in her section.

According to Johnson’s Facebook page the two sat at the table for three hours, keeping her there an hour past her shift and left her a measly five dollar tip. On her page Johnson called the couple cheap and mentioned the restaurant by name. Officials from the pizza place told Johnson she was being fired for violating a company policy banning workers from speaking badly about customers and casting the restaurant in a negative light on any type of open forum. It looks like Johnson won’t have to worry about anymore bad tips. So beware, with the recent privacy concerns involving Facebook releasing your private information, it seems this social network is becoming much worse at keeping your secrets.
