Another Recall

It looks like one is no longer the loneliest number as Toyota gets some company after another auto giant announces a recall.

Earlier this week Honda recalled 410,000 cars due to brake problems. The cars in question are Odysseys and Elements from the 2007 and 2008 model years. In a statement the Japanese automaker said that over time the brakes in these family oriented vehicles can feel soft and must be pressed closer to the floor to stop the vehicles. If unrepaired the problem could cause a loss of brakes completely and possibly a crash. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has already reported three crashes due to the problem but all with minor injuries. Honda says owners of recalled cars will get a letter in the mail when dealerships have the parts needed to fix the problem. These letters should start going out towards the end of April.
